As we introduce some new Coilover Kits to our website, a couple kits that we want to talk about are the TESLA Coilovers. We now offer 2017+ Model 3 Coilovers, as well as 2020+ Model Y Coilovers! Both AWD and RWD for both applications. As we’ve experienced owning a dual motor model 3 last year, we truly understand the potential for these cars. There is a ton of hate regarding electric cars, but we think they have an important role in the automotive industry, as not only a pioneer in technology, but to show the future can be fun as well! The dual motor model 3 with the “boost” feature, shoots you forward like a rocket, and it’s a really unusual and crazy feeling. Power comes on instantly, and the whole car is just a whole new experience as a whole.
Since we no longer own our previous Model 3, we Partnered with @qtrmle, and his heavily modified Model 3, to be the first one to install our coilovers. The install went smooth as butter, and really helped this car gain a load of performance. Rides great, and handles even better, eliminating body roll + keeping the car planted through corners. While these cars are heavy, they are surprisingly zippy and nimble through corners due to all the weight being towards the bottom of the car!
