We Moved to a New Facility

In 2021 a lot of time was invested in searching for a new facility which could act as the “Ultimate ISC HQ”, by consolidating the 2 smaller existing facilities that we’re operating out of for the past 5+ years. We outgrew the existing warehouse, and were in desperate need of additional space for inventory, assembly, and shipping space for staging outbound freight. The 2nd facility (the shop) was being leased, and the owner of that facility made us aware the building was being sold, and we had to move.

So between the cramped warehouse, and shop lease ending, it was really time to find something and make it happen. We needed something that would allow all the segments of the company, to be under one roof, that had the correct amount of space for our current needs, and future growth. We were tired of moving every 5 years; ISC needed a long-term home to call their own!

We found a facility nearby, about 15 mins from the old ISC warehouse/office building, that seemed like a near perfect fit, with multiple loading docks on one side of the building, and ground level entry on the opposite side (so vehicles could drive in and out), it checked all the boxes. Once that facility was found, and secured, we hit the ground running with THE MOVE, which started in March 2022.

Fast-forward through the building maintenance, improvements, and physical moving, here is where we are at today February 2023 just 1 month shy of a full year later. It was quite the journey, and with most of the work being done ourselves (employees/friends/family) it was a race against time, to minimize downtime of operations + get ISC back up and running ASAP, all while making the necessary improvements as time allowed (often at night and on the weekends).

So this video is a recap of our journey, and we would like to thank everyone involved that helped make it happen, including our customers whose support over the years has allowed us to get to this next level as a company.. It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it, and our efficiency and operations have significantly improved by being able to utilize this new HQ, that we now call home.
